Milford Haven - from a painting of 1776 by J.R. Atwood.    The waterway was busy with trading vessels plying around the coasts of western and southern Britain, Ireland, and overseas to the Americas. Featured is the village of Hubberstone which became the packet station in 1787 and provided the nucleus of the town of Milford Haven, laid out by R.F. Greville in 1796.
